The TREX is Emerson's current-generation handheld communicator for HART and Foundation Fieldbus devices. Replaces the older 475 field communicator. This unit is the TREX2LFPKLWP3SRW: standard TREX base unit with Foundation Fieldbus plus HART communication, Device Link connector (for direct hookup to transmitters and valve positioners), and the Plus feature pack. The Plus pack adds diagnostics, valve link, and advanced loop troubleshooting — the features you actually need on-site.
If you're commissioning instruments, troubleshooting loops, or doing preventive maintenance on HART or FF devices, this is the tool. Reads device configuration, runs loop tests, trims analog output, and saves device configurations for later comparison.
