What You're Getting

Unlike the fixed-configuration 3051C, the 3051S is built around a modular electronics architecture. The sensor (SuperModule) is the same across all 3051S variants — what changes is the electronics board you plug into it. This means you can buy a basic 4-20mA version today and, if your plant later needs HART diagnostics or wireless, you swap the board without touching process piping. The coplanar design handles differential, gauge, and absolute pressure on one body. SIL 3 certified for safety instrumented systems. The 10-year installed stability of ±0.125% of span eliminates the annual recalibration cycle that legacy transmitters require.
